Sunday 10th December, Julie
was on Meridian FM's
new folk, roots and acoustic programme which went out on 87.7 FM in the East
Grinstead area of Sussex and on the internet. Martin Snodin, who hosted the
programme, played a track from Julie's new CD (which should be out around Easter)
before chatting about her musical activities this year. Then Julie played and
sang a Dave Carter song, Phantom Doll.

did three numbers with Gary at this event to celebrate Gary's 25 years as a
double bass player.

Julie and Gary did
a set in a "Song and Blues" concert to raise money for a new community
hall. at St Joseph's Community Hall, Redhill. A very warm audience responded
to Julie and Gary with great enthusiasm. It was a great evening with many talented
singers and musicians.

hours. The other bands were Travellin' Band, Broadband, plus solo acts. Julie
and Gary received a rapturous response.

Croydon Folk Club
Julie Roberts and Gary Holder performed two very successful gigs, late February
and March 2006. On 27 February they were the guests at Croydon Folk Club.
Warlingham
On
March 4 Julie and Gary did a set to great acclaim at the Medecin sans Frontiere
benefit concert at Warlingham near Caterham, Surrey. They have been asked to
return next year.
